One of my favorite quotes comes from the movie Serendipity, when John Cusak is talking with his friend from the Newspaper that writes obituaries, and he said, "The Greeks didn't write obituaries. They only asked one question after a man dies: Did he have passion?"
I find myself lately with more passions than I have time for! I am passionate about being a wife that blesses my husband, a homey homemaker, a student of ceramics, and excellent cook, and exceptional friend! I am passionate about being an all around kind and encouraging person. I am passionate about reading and learning, making cards, watching movies, dancing and just trying to enjoy life to the fullest!
So, I ask you what are you passionate about???

Chapter One: No Sense
I married an Alabama boy. I am from Florida, warm weather, sand in the toes, and crystal clear waters are in my blood. The only thing Alabama has are a few hills, muddy rivers and a short stretch of the gulf coast that may as well be Florida but there is no good way to get there. On top of all of that, my least favorite thing about this life is probably sports, I have absolutely no use for them. FSU football was practically force fed down my throat until I was finally old enough to stand up for myself and realize the obnoxious yells, chants, smelly beer drinking, offical booing, 3-ring circus that is a college football game is not my scene. So naturally the first thing I do, is get fixed up with the biggest Alabama boy that coaches, lives and breaths all things football. I am such an oxy-moron! But thus is the story of my ever changing and evolving life, one thing I have learned about myself is if I dislike it, I will probably marry it!
For example, more get to know you information about myself:
I absolutely love all things lady-like! Pink skirts and pearls are all I want, but I love to bait my own hook with a real live worm, nobody does it like I can! I want to sing Moon River like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, but I listen to rap music, it brings out my inner ethnic girl that just wants to dance! I watch my figure, because well... well because I care! But my favorite snack is the real Coca-Cola and a stick of beef jerky! Absolutely none of this makes any sense. I am by in large of a product of being raised in the south, a true Southern Belle, that wants nothing more than to be pretty in pink by day, and barefoot as a yard dog by night....

Preface: New Beginnings
Where to begin? I am new at blogging and all that it entails, but as I start this new journey into club MRS, I thought this would be a fun new adventure to begin. So here I go, I will try my best to give you things in a nutshell so you will be up to speed! I grew up in a small town in Northwest Florida, near the most beautiful beaches, have an affinity for all things pink, shoes, and seafood, met an Alabama boy that played college football with my brother, fell head over heels, went to Troy University got a Graphic Design degree, got a GREAT job in Birmingham, married said Alabama boy, bought a house, and so here we are at the new beginning of my life as I know it, "The Pink of Perfection"!
